“A Giant in the Parlor”
\npublished in February 1949, “Calling All Girls,” is a short story about Abraham Lincoln.<\/p>\n

This is a love story of a century past. To tell you anything more about it would be to rob you of the thrill of its discovery.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This and all the other magazine stories we find will be compiled into an anthology in 2024. The family is working out all the legal details and I am working out how to find more of her stories to include in the book. Writing and selling short stories to magazines was, and may still be, a nice way for authors to pick up some quick cash. <\/p>\n
