One of the other out-of-print books that I have always wanted to read written by Dorothy Gilman was her Carnival Gypsy. It was published in 1950 and was part of the Starlight Book Series. As with Enchanted Caravan published in 1949 and several more published just after the stories were centered around a girl or several girls and an adventure of some kind. This story centers around a young lady, Capri, and her Mom, Francia, who have recently inherited a carnival from the Uncle.
