A memorial service will be held for her on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at The Community Church of New York, 40 East 35th Street in Manhattan.  Any readers of the Mrs. Pollifax Fan Blog who happen to be in the area are welcome to attend.     Jonathan Butters&#8221;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>If you reside in the area we hope you can attend.  And we hope you will share the experience with the rest of her fans who are not able. I will really miss all the new stories that Dorothy Gilman Butters could have shared with us and I wish I could come up with an appropriate saying that would ease the pain of her children and grandchildren.
