Excited First Book is Ready to Publish

I am so excited that the first book is finally ready to be published. That’s right! I have finally gotten over my fractured right shoulder but then I was hit, out of the blue, by the cruddy flu. That beast hung around for over two weeks. I tell you when you get older, DO NOT forget, to get your flu shots every year. Anyway, I have completely finished with converting the first book from hardback into digital format so that it can finally be published in eBook, a new paperback and even, perhaps, in audio format as well. These stories are still relevant today and just as enjoyable as when I first discovered this wonderful author years ago.

The “Enchanted Caravan” has been sent for final approval with her two sons and I hope to have the publication announcement before Mother’s Day. The second book will be published approximately 30 days after that. Barring any more unforeseen ‘accidents’ or ‘illnesses’ I hope to be able to get this project done before Christmas. Right now we are releasing each one in order of original publication year under the same titles as the originals with the information on the back that they are being re-released. The front matter will include some information about the original publication, a new copyright page, and a Letter to the Reader. The back matter will have the list of titles already published as well as the ones scheduled for publication as we go along. The eBook versions will have updated links to the each of the other published books as we are using the same self-publishing company for those. And, since it is “PRINT ON DEMAND” paperback publishing we will be able to add new back matter as it comes available. When this version of the books are published they will be available around the world and even your local libraries!

We are also working on stories about the author, her writing, new pictures and anecdotes will be added to the back-matter of each book.

Yes, we will be releasing box-sets as well as. That seems to be wanted by at least half of the respondents to our survey. Yes, the survey is still active and we are archiving the responses for later contents and advertisement specials. As was stated in a previous post, anyone who includes their full name and address on the survey will be placed in the promotional drawings we will be creating for the holidays between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
