I haven’t had much time lately to update the site. However, with all the spamming going on I have decided to delete the Guestbook page and I will be deleting the FORUM site as well. No one ever posted to the forum in any of the discussion but thousands of “people” have signed up for it.
For all my fellow fans of this great writer I just wanted to say Thank you for your patience. If you wish to comment on any of the books that Dorothy Gilman has written or any of the posts that I have added then please sign up as a user for this site and post a comment. We do have some spam filters in place to try and weed out most of the spam posts. Over the years that I have had this fansite up on this server we have gotten over 100,000 hits. That is a pretty big number and we hope you will participate with the other fans out there and contribute to Fan Fiction, discussion about the various stories that she has written and the fabulous characters.
As an FYI, I do not ever send out emails to subscribers and any email you have received from anyone else besides jolene dot macfadden at mrspollifax dot com or WordPress about a new posting to the site are considered spam and should be deleted directly. I really don’t know how to prevent people from sending spam using the sites domain name but will look into it.
