Hey Everybody,Today is Dorothy Gilman’s Birthday! As fans we would like to wish her a very happy one and wish her many more. She has written over 40 books throughout the years that have entertained and delighted all of her fans. We have been introduced to a host of great characters not the least of which is Mrs Pollifax, Spy and Grandmother. There is not one fan that has not been touched by her stories. Even though she has not published a new story since 2002 we still remember her in our thoughts and re-read her books.

I was at the Library today, and I ordered about 5 books, one of which was Kaleidoscope. I was already reading Mrs. P. and the lion Killer (which was in my purse). I realized I hadn’t read any new ones in awhile and wondered if she was still writing them. I hope she is. any of her series’ . I may have to try her children’s books also. A New Kind of Country is one of my favorites. So, happy Birthday to one of my favorite authors…and PLEASE write more. we miss you. Kitty taylor
